Take the creative personality test, find your archetype
I'm back in full Fridays at Four obsession mode, and I have this really cool idea I want to talk about.
It's a creative personality test that tells you what kind of creative you are. Which is cool on its own - people love personality tests, they love hearing about themselves. But here's the part I'm really excited about: I'm building it into Fridays at Four so that depending on which category you land in, you'll actually get a different personality from Hai.
Here’s the test: https://www.fridaysatfour.co/creativity-test
(For those just joining us, Hai is the AI assistant for Fridays at Four - the platform I'm building to help you finish that big project you've been meaning to do. We connect you with another person for weekly accountability calls, plus you get AI support during the week that knows your project inside and out.)
So here's how it works. Through the test, we figure out what kind of support actually helps you be creative. Are you someone who thrives with task-oriented, detailed, structured guidance? Or do you work better with loose, creative brainstorming? Then Hai adapts to give you exactly that.
And what I think is really cool about this is we won't ask people "what kind of support do you want?" because no one ever knows the answer to that question. But through the test, we'll tease out what actually works for them. Isn't that cool?!
So you get an AI that knows you - it knows your project, what you're working on, all the conversations you've had with it, and most importantly, it knows the way you work without you needing to tell it.
What I love about this idea is we're helping people use this amazing technology in the way that's right for them, without them needing to figure out exactly how AI works best. I'm basically taking the framework of how I work with AI - the way I structure my day, what I've found helps me move forward when I feel stuck - and putting that into something other people can use.
The way I think about it, it's like having all the best parts of a job: coworkers so you don't feel alone, and someone who makes sure you actually do what you say you're going to do. That's the accountability buddy - they're not your boss, but you know you're talking to them once a week, so you feel a little bad if you don't follow through. Human accountability and AI support. I'm so excited about it.
Want to try the test? Depending on how much time I have this week, it'll either be text where you can see the questions, or more interactive, but this is definitely V1: https://app.fridaysatfour.co/creativity-test
And because you're on this list, I'll show you the landing page I'm working on:
app.fridaysatfour.co/new-landing
(definitely not done, has a ton of placeholder copy, but you can see my thought process. I'd love your feedback!)
I'm getting super focused on this and moving into beta testing soon. If you're interested in being part of it, let me know. A few ways to test:
Full experience: we pair you with an accountability buddy (which I think is the best way)
Solo mode: just you and the AI if you don't have time for calls
Partner testing: if you're already working on a project with someone, you can both use the platform for that shared project
This technology is so amazing for helping people expand what they can create. I can't wait to see what you build with it.
Till soon! Iso

I also thought it would be fun to include my original stream of consciousness spoken first draft of this post to see the process I went through working with AI as an editor. Not letting it write it for me, but working with it for feedback and drafting:
ORIGINAL DRAFT (Stream of Consciousness)
I'm back in the world of Friday's at 4, Obsession, and have this really cool idea I want to talk about, period. It's a creative personality test that tells you what kind of creative you are. So, a series of questions that helps you to understand if there is someone who needs a lot of support or not very much support or just helps them give, just helps give them a framework for the way to work that is most successful for them.
Which is cool on its own and I think people would be excited about it because people love personality tests. They love hearing about themselves. But the part of it I'm really excited about is I'm actually building it into Friday's at four. So people will take this creativity test and depending on the category they land in, they'll actually get a different personality from Hai…
(and for those just joining us, Hai is the name of the AI for the app Im building, Fridays at Four. It's a platform to finish any big-special-this is the work I was meant to do-but Im having trouble getting started-project. We connect you to another person for weekly accountability buddy calls, and then have an AI project managment/assistant/coach during the week who knows your project, every call you've made, every detail of what you've done and need to do.)
Ok back to it… So depending on which personality type you fall into, you'll actually get a Different kind of support from high. So if you're someone who really thrives with a very task oriented, detailed, structured support, that's the support you'll get. If you're someone who thrives with loose, creative brainstorming partners, that's what you'll get. And what I think is really cool about this is we won't ask people what kind of support do you want because no one ever knows the answer to that question. But through the test, we'll tease out what kind of support is most helpful for them. Isn't that cool?! So, it's an AI that has its own base personality, but it knows you so well. It knows your project, it knows what you're working on, it knows what kind of things you plan with your accountability buddy, it knows all the conversations you've had with it in the past, and most importantly, it knows the way you work without you needing to tell it.
Click here if you want to take the test. And depending on how much time I have this week, it will either just be text where you can see the test questions, or it will be more interactive, but this is definitely V1.
And also because you're so special and you're on this list, I'll show you the landing page I'm working on for the website, which is definitely not done and has a ton of copy that's not going to be on there. But you can see kind of my thought process. And I'd love your feedback!

This technology is so amazing for helping people expand what they can create. And what I love about building this platform and about this idea specifically is what we're doing is helping people to understand the power of the technology, helping people to understand the way to use it right for them without them needing to know necessarily what they, without them needing to know, without them needing to understand exactly how the technology is best used. So it's almost like what I'm trying to do is create the framework of how I work both with AI but just generally in creating projects, the way I structure my day, the way I structure my time. What I've found really helps to move me forward when I feel stuck or I feel unmotivated and pour that all into a framework that other people can use. The way I think about it is it's almost like all the best things about having a job which are having coworkers so you don't feel alone and having a manager or a boss who makes sure that you're actually doing what you say you're going to do and having a manager or a boss that in some ways I think the real value is just having someone you know is going to be asking if you've done what you said you're going to do. And that's what I think is amazing about the accountability buddy, right? They're not your boss. But you know you're going to be talking to them once a week so you feel a little bit bad if you don't do what you say you're going to do. Whereas we don't feel bad if we don't do what we say we're going to do for AI. So it's like this human accountability and AI support. I'm so excited about it.
I'm getting back super focused on this project and gonna move into beta testing soon. If I talked to you before about beta testing, we'll definitely reach out to you soon, but if you're interested in being part of this, let me know. There are two ways you can use the platform for beta testing. One is we hook you up with an accountability buddy, which I really think is the best way to do it. But also, if you feel like you don't have the time for that, you can do more single player mode, which is just working alone with the AI. Another thing I'm really interested in is testing with having two people who know each other who are working on the same project remotely. So you would have weekly calls with someone you already know, and your project inside the platform would be one project split between two users. It's a use case I was thinking about the other day that I imagine actually a lot of people would be interested in. Not exactly my kind of philosophical motivation, but actually I think it could be really useful for people. So if you're working on a project with a partner and you want a more supportive environment for a better way to track what you're doing, let me know.
Till soon! Iso
